The Tathra Wharf to Waves Event would not exist without the sponsorship of businesses. These businesses provide financial and in-kind support to enable the organisers to cover the expenses of running the event. Funds raised from competitor entries, merchandise and refreshments are donated back to the community – the Tathra Primary School, the Tathra Surf Lifesaving Club and the Tathra Pre-School.

Brendan and Nicole Harris, are the winners of 2019 Splash for Cash 1200m Open Swim Race. This is the ninth year Bega Cheese has sponsored the event. That makes us happy little vegemites!

‘Splash for Cash’ Naming Rights for 2023 Bega’s Betta Electrical

Here we have a very happy Brendan Buckley from Beta Electrical being congratulated by Jane Funston, a long-time member of the Organising Committee.

As the winner of the “Splash for Cash” draw in 2018, Bega Electrical has become a major sponsor of the long awaited 2023 event. Not a bad result from a $100 ticket purchase in the draw!
