The Bike Ride
Held on the Saturday of the Tathra Wharf to Waves Weekend at 5:00pm, a 23k bike ride for mountain biking enthusiasts.
Bike riders leave Bega and travel over Dr George Mountain to Tathra through some of the most breathtaking bushland scenery the Sapphire Coast has to offer.
Entries are accepted on-line until the Friday before the event, and then from 3.30pm in person up until 4.30pm on Saturday, the day of the ride, at the Tarraganda Fire Shed, Tarraganda Lane, just past Bega Country Club.
All riders must register their attendance at the Tarraganda Fire Shed by 4.30pm. Slower riders will depart from the Tarraganda Fire Shed 15 minutes ahead of the main bunch.
The event finishes at the Tathra Surf Club where refreshments are available. All entrants who complete the ride will go into a Random Draw for a $1000 voucher for Tathra Beach and Bike.
